Fall Means Pottery Time

The cool weather has put an end to my gardening, so my focus now is on making pots and helping Ron get his solo cd ready for release. 

Have not set the dates for my holiday open studio yet, but will be doing that soon. 

Since I am retired from my day job now, I am around the pottery most days.  Feel free to give me a call & stop by.

Preparations for Upcoming Open Showroom

Fired my last kiln load before my upcoming sale and will unload the kiln today. I will be setting up for my show this week and will also try to get photos of the new pots on line.

Bloomington Handmade Market

I participated in the Bloomington Handmade Market in the Bloomington Convention Center on Saturday, Nov. 6. There was a great crowd (more than 1500 people) and lots of interesting and creative vendors. A very nice event.

Bisque firing tomorrow

At long last, I am ready to fire again. I loaded the kiln this evening with pots to be bisque fired and tomorrow I will fire the kiln. I still have lots of pieces that did not fit in the kiln for this firing, so I will probably do another bisque firing next weekend. Tomorrow will be a pottery day. I will be monitoring the kiln and making pots most of the day.
